This class will be chair-based. There will be no kneeling and we will not come down to the floor. We recommend you bring your own yoga mat (not too thick). The mat can be placed under your chair for stability. For comfort and to support yourself in the chair please bring your own cushion, blanket or towel too.

In this class we'll explore a variety of yoga postures, movements and practices sitting on a chair. If available to you, we'll explore a few standing postures with the support of the chair too.

As you move you'll bring awareness to your breathing, inviting focus and calm. Each class will begin seated on the chair, taking time to settle before we begin moving. Class will end with a relaxation practice sitting on the chair.

No yoga experience or knowledge of chair yoga is required. This class is suitable for all levels including beginners.

Yoga offers a wonderful set of tools to help you feel more at home with yourself. This class is the perfect place to explore yoga and what it has to offer you.
