This class will be on a yoga mat and we'll incorporate a chair into practice. Using the chair will take away the need to put your hands on the floor, sit on the floor or kneel for long periods of time.

We'll explore a variety of yoga postures, movements and practices sitting on a chair. If available to you, we'll explore standing postures with the support of the chair too. Lots of options will be offered and we'll work together to find what works best for you.

As you move you'll bring awareness to your breathing, inviting focus and calm. Each class will begin seated on the chair, taking time to settle before we begin moving. Each class will end with relaxation sitting on a chair.

No yoga experience or knowledge of chair yoga is required. This class is suitable for all levels including beginners.

Yoga offers a wonderful set of tools to help you feel more at home with yourself. This class is the perfect place to explore yoga and what it has to offer you.

Chairs will be provided but please bring your own yoga mat and blanket. If you have any other blocks or props you enjoy using please bring them along too.
